Anna Leigh Ashford

Annaleigh Amanda Ashford (born April 14, 1980) was an American actor, singer, and dancer. She started her Broadway career performing in musicals like Wicked, Legally Blonde and Hair. in You Can't Take It With You, she won the Tony Award as Best Featured actor in a Play. Annaleigh Ashford is a Tony Award winner actor has worked with a variety of acclaimed actors and directors for stage productions and on television. Ashford continues to build on her award-winning career by working on new projects. Ashford will be next seen alongside Kumail Nannjiani as part of Robert Siegel's Hulu Limited series Welcome to Chippendales premiering November 22. Ashford is currently in the making of Searchlight Pictures' terror thriller Dust starring Sarah Paulson. In the form of it is a Hulu Original, the film will be available on Disney DTC's platforms. Ashford is set to return in 2023, and will be starring opposite Josh Groban at the Lunt-Fontanne Theatre to perform the revival of Stephen Sondheim's Sweeney Todd. This show will be produced by Thomas Kail and produced by Jeffrey Seller, the team who brought you Hamilton. Ashford's most recent performance was Paula Jones on Ryan Murphy FX's American Crime Story Impeachment. It is based upon the nationwide scandal that involved Paula Jones Monica Lewinsky, as well as Linda Tripp. The two-season run she had on the CBS show B Positive was her first significant part.
