David Muir, an American journalist who anchors the ABC News magazine 20 is best known for his role as co-anchor on World News Tonight With David Muir. His show with its dramatic videos, celebrity news and his animated gestures has been voted the top newscast in America. He is also known for his Emmy-nominated program Made In America. In the years before his appointment as anchor of ABC World News Tonight Sawyer was his main substitute. The primetime newscasts to ABC News include Breaking Point: Heroin in America, Flashpoint: Refugees in America. He's traveled all over the world to cover stories from Gaza Egypt Iran Somalia Japan Peru Ukraine Haiti and the Gulf of Mexico. He has received multiple Emmy Awards Edward R.
