Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy, born 13 June 1962 in the US, is an actor. In 1983, following her first movie Bad Boys starring as a Brat Pack member in WarGames 1982 as well as The Breakfast Club '85 she was known for being a member of the group. Sheedy was awarded the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead for her performance in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Sheedy is an American writer and actress. She started her career in acting in the film Bad Boys at the beginning of the 1980s. Rick Rosenthal was the director of this film, in which other actors were also prominent such as Sean Penn Esai Morales Clancy Brown Alan Ruck. Her first success led her to make an appearance in The Breakfast Club, a comedy-drama from 1985. John Hughes' film, directed by him, was one of history's greatest high-school films. Even though the budget for this film was just $1 million, it made more than $50 million. Between then, she began to appear on various TV shows, including CBS Schoolbreak. It was her first appearance on television. The show was designed for teens and aired from April 1980. Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid and Hill Street Blues are other programs on TV where she was a part of. Some of her latest appearances include Little Sister and X-Men Apocalypse a film about a superhero that she appears in as an appearance. Sheedy has received numerous awards for her outstanding performances, which include an award from the MTV Movie Award Silver Bucket of Excellence Award.
