Dwayne was the first pastor of Wellspring Church, Charlotte NC in 2007, which he began in the year 2007. As a Board Member of Acts 29 Network he is the Director for Pastoral Care. Dwayne is passionate about empowering the next generation of biblical counselors. He serves on the Board for Directors of the Biblical Counseling Coalition. He is the creator of numerous online articles as well as a contributor to Christ-Centered Biblical Counseling: Transforming lives through God's unchanging truth (eds. Kelleman and Viars). Dwayne has three kids and a wife Leslie.
